(continued story) Karina bit her lip. Men his age shouldn't be this thin, he was malnourished. Not surprising if they were rationing food! How long had they been doing that? It probably stunted his growth too. Low-lives. She outta give them a piece of her mind sometime! Tadashi colored a little with her hands on his waist then grinned mischievously. "I didn't think you were type of girl for that. Do you like me that much?" he teased. Karina grew crimson and her fingers dug into his shirt. "I am within 2 inches of really stabbing you!" she threatened. "Okay, okay, fine!" he yielded. "You're not going back out there, not until I make sure you have enough to eat so you won't happen to faint in the middle of a battle!" Karina insisted, letting go of him. "So until that's settled, you're staying here." "But--" Tadashi started. Karina looked at him sharply. "Don't bother arguing. Besides, I'm sure my house is better then whatever rate-hole they're making you staying in. And it’s only until I think you're well enough." "But my teammates, they're gonna come looking for me." he reasoned. "Well, they're just going to have to find you here." She held firm. "Cause you're not leaving, or else I'll hunt you down. And your smell is strong enough for anyone to follow." Tadashi raised one eyebrow and sniffed himself then his face twisted with repulsion. "When was the last you bathed?" she asked. "Wait, never mind. I don't want to know. Use my bathroom if you need it. I just don't have any hot water though." Karina walked into the kitchen then stopped. "But I warn you, if you take one step towards my bedroom tonight, I sleep with a butcher knife, I will severe your hands." Tadashi tilted his head in confusion. "Why would I want to go to your room?" "I don't know---" she stared, realizing he actually didn't know what she was talking about. "Never mind." she brushed it off. Tadashi waited in his seat then glimpsed Karina approaching with a plate of food. "Here. Your first meal in awhile. And it’s the best food around here..."
